It’s been thirty days.

thirty days of the ever changing sky
thirty nights of the moon passing by

I held on to the hands of time,
wished it stayed the same.
But it kept marching on,
dragging you away.

After all, time was always our enemy
Coming and going like a breeze.

Now I stand before an opportunity,
a chance against time.

A chance to right all my wrongs.

But he smiles at me innocently and says:

‘At what cost?'

A month has passed since the untimely death of Emilio's older sister, thirty days of grief and denial, he had spent his days stuck in a past he has no power to change.

That is, until a familiar face pays him a visit one mundane afternoon, he starts to consider that maybe, things aren't as permanent as they seem to be.
